3 Open Space Participants attend sessions.

The Open Space Facilitator formally authorizes each participant to decide how to participate. In return, each participant agrees to be responsible for the success of the event.

Participation in OpenSpace Agility events is completely voluntary. The people who opt in to attend are there because they want to be. This is true regardless of whether they support, tolerate, or resist agile adoption. Participating in Open Space gives Participants the freedom to identify, discuss, and solve the issues that matter most to them.

Each Participant is free to choose which sessions and other conversations to join. The facilitator encourages each participant to follow the Law of Two Feet: “If at any time during our time together you find yourself in any situation where you are neither learning nor contributing, use your two feet and go someplace else.”
